About this Event:
Come on out and learn all about campfire cooking while enjoying a tasty meal! You will learn how to build a fire, different types of fire, campfire safety, and basic cast iron maintenance. Close toed shoes are required for safety. Children 12 and up must be accompanied by an adult.

About the Program
Overview:
Learn how to kayak/canoe, cook in the outdoors, cross-country ski, snowshoe, and survive in the wilderness.
These courses introduce folks to practical skills for enjoying South Dakota’s landscape. Classes include kayak and canoe classes on flat and moving bodies of water, skills for how to start a fire and cook on an open fire, and skills for wilderness survival. During the winter months, these courses also include snowshoeing and cross-country skiing.
