About this Event:
Who can cook wild game the best? This will be a fun contest to learn about Dutch Oven and wild game cooking. Closed-toed shoes are required for safety. This can be a group or individual contest, but please make sure to register everyone in the group. We will provide ½ pound of wild game and Dutch Ovens to each person(s), but the rest of the ingredients are on your own so come prepared. Winner(s) will get ultimate bragging rights!

About the Program
Overview:
Learn how to kayak/canoe, cook in the outdoors, cross-country ski, snowshoe, and survive in the wilderness.
These courses introduce folks to practical skills for enjoying South Dakota’s landscape. Classes include kayak and canoe classes on flat and moving bodies of water, skills for how to start a fire and cook on an open fire, and skills for wilderness survival. During the winter months, these courses also include snowshoeing and cross-country skiing.
