About this Event:

Do you keep the ribs when breaking down your harvested deer? Most people don’t or add the meat to their trim meat. The goal of this class is to help participants gain confidence through hands-on experience trimming, cleaning and prepping a rack of venison ribs. The class will commence by enjoying a tasty sample of prepared venison ribs.
Participants must be 5 years old or older
All youth under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

About the Program

Overview:

Learn to scout, hunt, shoot, harvest, process and cook wild game. 
Each learn to hunt class builds confidence in novice hunters and allows them to advance their skillsets towards becoming an independent hunter. Starting with scouting and finding places to hunt, students begin to lay the foundation for how they could plan a hunting experience in the field. From there, our instructors provide instruction in necessary gear, licenses, and skills needed to harvest the species of choice. From there, students learn how to successfully and ethically harvest the species of their choice, process the meat to prepare it for cooking, and finally cook their harvested wild game.
