About this Event:
Join other homeschool students in learning the techniques of paddling in our front pond. Also learn different parts of paddles, and boats. REMINDER---parents do NOT need to register for homeschool programs but have to be present during class.

About the Program
Overview:
Learn how to kayak/canoe, cook in the outdoors, cross-country ski, snowshoe, and survive in the wilderness.
These courses introduce folks to practical skills for enjoying South Dakota’s landscape. Classes include kayak and canoe classes on flat and moving bodies of water, skills for how to start a fire and cook on an open fire, and skills for wilderness survival. During the winter months, these courses also include snowshoeing and cross-country skiing.
