About this Event:

An introduction to firearms for youth and adult beginners, this class will familiarize participants with safe firearm use and handling skills. Led by Hunter Cole, HuntSafe instructor,
former police officer and firearm enthusiast, this class will discuss the three main types of firearms: rifles, shotguns and handguns along with the different types of actions,
ammunition, chokes and much more. This program will be informational and may include a range day scheduled at a later time.

About the Program

Overview:

Interested in learning how to shoot your shotgun, rifle, bow or bow? Join us in our Shooting Sports series. 
These classes will give you the opportunity to practice wing-shooting in preparation for upland game bird hunting, will teach you how to care for your firearms so they last a lifetime, how to sight in your rifle or bow,  how to take ethical shots while hunting, and how to enjoy recreational shooting on your own.
