About this Event:

I am excited to announce our latest addition to our 101 classes. Waterfowl 101 is now available for registration. This 3-part class will have an in-class portion, a range day and a hunt. The first 2 parts are required in order to attend the hunt. In order to offer this program, we had to be creative with the schedule and put them on weekdays. I apologize for not putting it on a weekend when more people may be available. All participants must provide their own transportation to each location. Participants must purchase the appropriate licenses (we will get you setup on the 28th). You are welcome to bring your own gun, ammo and waders but all will be provided for those who need it. Participants must me 12 years of age and accompanied by an adult that is also participating. Family's are encouraged to participate together.

IMPORTANT: PLEASE IGNORE THE TIME ZONE. WHEN IT SAYS 6:00CST, THE CLASS IS 6:00MST

About the Program

Overview:

Learn to scout, hunt, shoot, harvest, process and cook wild game.
Each learn to hunt class builds confidence in novice hunters and allows them to advance their skillsets towards becoming an independent hunter. Starting with scouting and finding places to hunt, students begin to lay the foundation for how they could plan a hunting experience in the field. From there, our instructors provide instruction in necessary gear, licenses, and skills needed to harvest the species of choice. From there, students learn how to successfully and ethically harvest the species of their choice, process the meat to prepare it for cooking, and finally cook their harvested wild game.
