Put your investigation hat on and come help identify mammal skulls common throughout the state. We can tell a lot about animals by their skulls. Those skull characteristics can help us not only Identify that species but their age, and how they lived.

About the Program

Overview:

Learn how to kayak/canoe, cook in the outdoors, cross-country ski, snowshoe, and survive in the wilderness.
These courses introduce folks to practical skills for enjoying South Dakota’s landscape.  Classes include kayak and canoe classes on flat and moving bodies of water, skills for how to start a fire and cook on an open fire, and skills for wilderness survival.  During the winter months, these courses also include snowshoeing and cross-country skiing.
